Aoife Casey is an Irish born artist based in Seville, Spain. Having graduated from NCAD she has spent the last 20 years producing primarily photographic works and has exhibit extensively.Aoife is chiefly inspired by other artistic mediums such as poetry and painting and resonates with certain time periods in art history; in particular the late 19th century and the turn of the 20th century with its jazz age, symbolists and pre-Raphaelite painters. The element of timelessness is something that Aoife aims to portray in her aesthetic. Instead of creating something 'new' Aoife makes room for what beautiful and worth considering.
