Business overview
As an expat myself I realised that in many countries buying water in plastic bottles seems to be a convenient way to get safe water and this is what I did myself. Only after some diligent research I got aware of the many health risks that come with plastic bottled water, e.g. hormone disrupting chemicals, heavy metals and plasticisers that leak into the water. I was shocked that selling water in plastic bottles is still allowed and marketed as "safe". Not to mention the environmental impact on our oceans, where there already is 6x more plastic particles than plankton. Not willing to risk my health and destroying the environment with unnecessary plastic waste, I was looking for a solution in terms of a safe water filtration system. In the beginning I found it very hard to understand the differences between the different filtration options, especially because a lot of filter systems claim to purify water by 99,9% which I, in my following years of becoming an expert on healthy water, did not find true at all. I have tested hundreds of water filtered waters, tap waters and bottled waters and from a health aspect, only a few can be considered really safe. Since more than 4 years it is my passion to educate interested people on the importance of healthy water for our bodies to maintain or regain health and wellbeing. From my perspective and knowledge today, proper hydration is one of the biggest pillars and highly underestimated pillars of our health.
